I have been working on a new portrait in my art journal.

I used a combination of acrylic paints in lots of layers, and then worked on top of it with pastel pencil and charcoal pencil. This way of using these media was fairly new to me, and I must say that I really love working with these techniques. It also makes it easier for me to work with more colors, which I am enjoying as well.

So I might be doing more of these portraits in the coming weeks. 🙂
